Schneider Electric | QuickFlex

We were commissioned by Schneider Electric's international marketing team to produce an interactive product presentation to help launch the company's innovative QuickFlex system.

The new product's five key success factors are shown in a two-minute animated sequence featuring exciting camera angles and unusual cuts. Interactive 360-degree views provide further details and information on the products. Our execution of the project and the quality of the product images attracted international attention within the Schneider Electric corporation.

Merten | Electric socket outlet with LED lighting module

Showing off the Merten socket outlet with LED lighting module for a cover page was an interesting challenge. Once again, our 32-bit method proved very effective, both for rendering and for image processing. Our client received a ready-to-print CMYK image of outstanding quality.

Schneider Electric | System M 2.0

This complex project for Schneider Electric involved producing three photorealistic ambient images and combining them with a photograph of a real model. We started out with several options for the interior design and furnishings of each room, and our 3d team then adapted the selected designs to create the virtual spaces. At the same time we worked closely with our partner Constantin Meyer to coordinate the photo shoot with the model. We used the precise parameters of the 3d design to determine the optimal lighting and camera angle for the shoot. The postproduction phase involved creating the photomontages and image editing for offset printing. Even 3d-sceptics were impressed by the results.

Ritto | IP Key Visual

We produced two key visuals for the marketing campaign for Ritto’s IP technology. We were responsible for everything from the architectural design, 3d construction and visual style to image editing for offset printing. The image of the office building was produced with a resolution of over 40 megapixels for large-format printing.

Schneider Electric | promotional film of motion detectors

For the marketing of three new motion detectors in South European DIY superstores our customer ordered three short promotional films to present the product and its advantages. Our task was to develop the storyboard and the user interface design, to produce the 2D and 3D animations, to edit image and sound and to convert them into several film formats. We designed two virtual locations in 3D, created a female figure as actor and animated the virtual installation of the motion detectors. Three informative films and a satisfied customer were the result of these activities.

Schneider Electric | Viusalisation of the motion detector

For the package design and the assembly instruction our customer required images of three new motion detectors. We edited the CAD data, compiled the material, adjusted the camera and the light and rendered over a dozen high-resolution images.

Ritto | Visualisation of the new door station “ACERO”

In our virtual photographic studio we created three high-quality renderings of the new door station “ACERO” produced by the company Ritto for print media. For the subsequent image editing the rendering in 32-bit mode allows a quite differentiated optimisation of the pictures for offset printing.

In addition to the studio photographs the functions of the product should be presented. Our business partner Constantin Meyer from Cologne took photos of three locations, one of them with a male figure. At the same time, he took 360-degree HDRI photos for the rendering and the pictures required for the illustration of reflections and of the illumination of the model. By this means the digital product can be perfectly integrated into the real photography. Our customer was enthusiastic about this result.

Ritto | Visualisation of the new door station “Portier”

The modular door station “Portier” produced by the company Ritto came out at the beginning of the year 2009. Before the production started, there was no real product available for photographs. For Ritto’s marketing department we made photos of the product with the help of CAD data in our virtual photo studio. These convinced our customer of the great potential of virtual photography, and he engaged us to produce an animated sequence demonstrating how to assemble the “Portier” modules.

The virtual image material required for the marketing of the product, from the pictures in the catalogue to the examples of use in real surroundings was created by us. Due to this mode of production we are able to customise the style of the images and the illustration of material surfaces. In order to be able to use further the already existing pictorial material, we integrated the new product photos into the existing ones.

Matthias Peper Architekturbüro | Visualisation of architecture

For the architect’s office Matthias Peper we visualised the reconstruction project of an old building in the Berlin district Prenzlauer Berg. On the basis of pictures and ground plans we made a true to scale 3D model with which the different options of renovation can be displayed.

We accurately calculate the simulation of the incidence of daylight in the four seasons – an additional useful facet of the 3D model.

Merten GmbH & Co. KG | Virtual tour of the exhibition stand

Merten, one of the leading companies for intelligent building services engineering, showcased on the fifth light + building in Frankfurt an exhibition stand designed by the Studio Urquiola in Milan. The virtual tour we developed and realised allows the customers at any time to visit the exhibition stand. In six cubes the applicabilities of the products by Merten are shown.

The detailed 3D model of the exhibition stand we created can be turned through 360 degrees. Virtual pan shots in the respective cubes cross-fade into the video sequences we produced in order to present the products displayed there.

Mattthias Peper Architekturbüro | Visualisation of architecture

With this project the ideal structuring of the building should be presented at an early planning stage. We created a plain layer model of the building and highlighted the intended uses in different colours. The model can be turned through 360 degrees, and the types of use can be selected with a menu. Thus, the architect was able to demonstrate the investor different constructional solutions with the help of a descriptive and innovative presentation which is easy to handle.
